Hello all
With the highly anticipated launch of Phoebe Philo's A1 Collection, which a lot of us have been eagerly anticipating (me refreshing page every minute) we got to see Philo's dreamy collection, which very much had her signature print we saw through her period at the house of Céline. The prices were high and pieces sold out extremely fast. The item which caught my attention was the leather Cabas XL handbag at a hefty £6,200. I also fell in love with the sweaters, coats and heels from the collection. Some of my favourites are featured below:

After seeing the collection, I am probably not the only one who ran to Vestiaire Collective to see if there were any similar pieces from the old Céline collection and low and behold this beauty "Coulisse" handbag was available in "very good condition" for £280. Of course I instantly added to basket and checked-out. I had the Coulisse handbag in the horizontal version two years ago which I had sold. I am not sure why, as I had it in perfect condition and kind of regretted it after having a child and needing the extra bag space. I was also on the edge of selling my Celine drake wrapped boots in lambskin which I stored away during pregnancy as they did not fit, but now they fit again (yay). So happy I held onto them. The Coulisse bag is featured below, this time in the vertical version, crafted from calfskin leather making it durable. I hope to keep this in my collection for many more years to come.
On a side note, Vestiaire Collective offer an authentication service for a small fee at the check-out which always gives peace of mind. I do also do my own authentication to double-check authenticity but its worth mentioning this service for those who did not realise.
